Front of School: June 2010  Rear of School: June 2010

The School Crest was designed by Ms. Eithne Gallagher.  The following is a short explanation of the symbols.

  • Celtic designs forming a circle around the outside reflect the Irish ethos that encompasses the school.

  • The book and oak leaf are symbols of learning and wisdom.

  • The pinnacle and lake reflect the geographical location of the school in the midlands.

  • The bird symbolises the freedom that education bestows on the child.  The quest for knowledge assists them on their journey through life.
