Welcome to Parents' Association at Tubberclare National School
As parents we would like to introduce our Association to you and hope that in time you can contribute to its continuing successful operation.
St. Clare's Parents' Association at Tubberclare National School was formed in 2003. The primary objective of St. Clare’s Parents Association is to provide a representative forum for parents of pupils to discuss matters of mutual concern and to initiate activities relating to the education, welfare and development of our children.
Throughout the school year, you will find that the Parents' Association is involved in the organization of a range of events examples of which are as follows:
- Provision of refreshments for for Communion, Confirmation in Tubberclare Hall,
- Tuck Shop for pupils and Refreshments for Parents at Sports Day
- Refreshments for families at Christmas Concerts in Tubberclare Community Hall
- Refreshments for new parents at Tubberclare Community Hall on Induction morning and provide a comprehensive information booklet answering all questions that a new parent to school will have and to make your transition to Primary School easier. - First Aid Course for Parents
- Story Teller for pupils at school
- Work with the school on the Bord Bia ‘Healthy Eating Initiative’.
- Social night for parents e.g Table Quiz, Roll Back the Years Disco.
- Family day outing in September with trip to Portlick, Glasson
- After School Activity List outlining all activities in the local area with contact details , which is available by contacting parents association (contact details below).
- Graduation Certificates for 6th class pupils
All events are to make your child’s school days fun and also assist in their physical and educational development at St. Clare’s National School. The main activities are funded by the Annual Voluntary Subscription.
